Pemberton’s tessellation of irregular pentagons is a pleasing and mysterious combination of rhythm and variation. There’s one Penta cushion available in rugged denim with corduroy and Japanese wool/linen, quilted by topstitching in jeans-gold either side of the seams; another in more traditional oriental-adjacent red and gold and black with a striped silk from Bengal.
The cushions are designed to fit a standard (bed) pillow; two if you like a firm, well-stuffed cushion. Or you can get a Superking size (King in the US), which we used in these pictures, and your cushion will never sag or need puffing up.
Sold as cover only, with a zip opening. Washable at low temperature but do not tumble dry.
